Jacob Miller is a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and Nationally Registered Paramedic with a background in flight, critical care transport, and emergency nursing in addition to over 15 years of EMS practice. Jacob received his Master of Science in acute care from the University of Maryland, post-masters certificates in family practice and advanced transport nursing from Case Western Reserve University, and his Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Cincinnati.
Jacob currently serves as an at-large director on the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association board of directors, is chair of the Emergency Nurses Association’s advanced practice advisory council, and co-chairs the EMS Special Interest Group with the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners.
As a testament to his enduring and substantial contributions to the specialty area of critical care transport medicine, Jacob has been recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of Emergency Nursing.
