I have been an RN for 22 years and a Paramedic for 15 years. I am the Director of Innovative Education and Simulation at the University of New Mexico Hospitals Lifeguard Emergency and Critical Care Transport Team. Specialty interests include neonatal, pediatric and maternal care. As a critical care transport educator, program development initiatives include a High-Fidelity Simulation Program, a Mechanical Circulatory Support program, POCUS implementation and Flight Physician training. I have a deep-seated commitment to community outreach in which our team's work, especially in rural and maternal healthcare, is pioneering improvements in the underserved and indigenous populations' outcomes.
