My name is Pam Adams. I have been involved with flight nursing since 1989. I started in EMS 43 years ago (OMG, I'm old) when they allowed mear children to work on ambulances :) Needless to say, I love this environment. I have experience in ground, rotor wing, and some fixed wing. I am one of the wacko nurses.....I head right toward the pregnant patient that comes thru the ER doors when everyone else is ducking into the bathroom, lounge, closet, etc. The sicker they are, the more comfortable I am. High risk obstetrics is my specialty! For that reason, I teach others in EMS how to transport these patients through my business, O.B. STAT, Inc.
I have to say my favorite food is probably seafood like lobster and crab, but can be happy with a great filet as well. I love to grow roses and tend to my 3 very large saltwater fish aquariums in my off time.
